According to Clark County Detention Center online records, Brittanie Merritt-Burwell is facing charges related to attempted murder with a deadly weapon and Battery with a deadly weapon. The co-defendant, Joshua Youngblood is likewise facing a $500,000 bail and is accused of aiding a felony offender and carrying a concealed weapon without a permit. Merritt-Burwell claimed initially she acted in self-defense.
