Alonso Perez was arrested again after FBI and local law enforcement arrived at the scene. Perez stole a work truck that was subsequently recovered in the east side of the Las Vegas Valley. Perez is the prime suspect in the August 27th homicide of 31 year old Mohammad Robinson at a McDonalds restaurant near Pecos and Las Vegas Blvd. He allegedly shot and killed Robinson after an altercation involving a female. He is charged with open murder at this time and has no bail set. In addition to the murder count, he has additional charges related to grand larceny, grand larceny of an automobile, conspiracy to commit robbery, felony prisoner escape, and others.
Two additional cases showing arrest warrants issued in June and August of this year are also to be heard in the Las Vegas Justice Court this week related to discharging a firearm at an occupied structure, assault with a deadly weapon, and domestic battery. Incidentally, Perez has a detainer from the Las Vegas Municipal Court involving traffic ticket bench warrants. For now he is scheduled for a court appearance to address the open murder charge and other felonies on Thursday morning in the North Las Vegas Justice Court.
